Legal terms
Important: By installing, opening, copying, downloading, accessing, or using Medical Coding Command — Dazzle Edition, the user agrees to these terms. This language is provided as a practical business document and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before broad commercial distribution.
The software is licensed, not sold. The seller grants the user a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use one copy for personal, educational, study, workflow, note-taking, or internal business purposes. This no-key copy may open without activation, but the absence of a key requirement does not transfer ownership, permit resale, or remove these restrictions.
The seller represents that it operates under a business license or other business authorization where required for its business activities. A business license authorizes business operations only; it does not create government endorsement, make this software an official medical coding authority, or grant third-party intellectual property rights.
The user may not sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, publish, upload, share, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, unlock, bypass, tamper with, or attempt to derive source code from the software except where prohibited by applicable law. The user may not remove legal notices or use the software to create a competing product based on its design, structure, workflow, templates, layout, or interface.
The software, including its interface, workflow, structure, seller-created text, templates, design, code, layout, compilation, and related materials, is owned by the seller or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. © 2026 Medical Coding Command. All rights reserved. If the seller operates under a separate legal business name, that name should be used or added in sales listings, invoices, and business records.
The software is a study, organization, note-taking, reference-organization, and workflow tool. It is not medical advice, legal advice, billing advice, coding certification, payer authorization, compliance approval, or a substitute for professional judgment. The user is solely responsible for verifying all coding, billing, documentation, compliance, reimbursement, and payer-related decisions against current official sources, applicable laws, payer policies, employer requirements, professional standards, and authoritative coding manuals or guidelines.
The software is independently produced. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, approved by, certified by, or officially connected to the American Medical Association (AMA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), any Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC), any commercial payer, any government agency, any coding authority, any educational institution, or any other third-party organization.
CPT® is a registered trademark of the American Medical Association. ICD, HCPCS, CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and other names or code sets may be owned, administered, or controlled by their respective organizations. Third-party names, abbreviations, references, or terminology are used only for identification, educational context, or user-created reference purposes, and ownership remains with the respective rights holders.
The user owns the notes and content they create, subject to any third-party rights in materials they add. The user is solely responsible for backing up content and for ensuring user content does not contain protected health information, confidential employer information, proprietary payer data, copyrighted third-party materials, or regulated information unless authorized and compliant with applicable obligations.
The software is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The seller disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, quiet enjoyment, and error-free operation. The seller does not guarantee coding accuracy, reimbursement, claim acceptance, exam success, compliance, audit outcomes, employment outcomes, or professional results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the seller will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, claim denials, audit results, reimbursement losses, professional discipline, exam failure, employment consequences, compliance issues, or costs of substitute goods or services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability will not exceed the amount actually paid for the software copy giving rise to the claim, or $50.00 if no amount was paid.
You may use this copy for your own study, notes, workflow, or internal use. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or claim official endorsement. You are responsible for verifying all coding and compliance decisions with current official sources. The app is provided as-is with limited liability.
